The Vision

A Brief Overview

As our Statement of Faith affirms, we believe that the Kingdom of God is built in trust and that the strategy of the Kingdom is love.  It is this belief that has formed the foundation for Cedar Lake Christian Center.

Under the leadership and administration of Bishop David Huskins, we strive to fulfill our vision.  We believe a vision is not what is now, but what can be!  Our vision includes ministry to the young and old, rich and poor, black and white, and should make a real difference in real people’s lives.  We hope that you are somehow changed by your visit here today and that our vision touches your life right where you are.

God has given us a mandate to make a difference in our community.  We strive to do this in the areas of public housing, government, AIDS ministry, those who are chemically addicted, unwed mothers, education, and the arts, along with many other areas.

One of our goals is to have education from the womb to the tomb.  We have accomplished this with our Pre-School, Academy, and Bible College.  We offer education from children ages 4 and up to adulthood in hopes that we will produce adults that are skilled and able to further the Kingdom of God.  We know that it will be accomplished and will be achieved through an approach of Fearless Conquest.

The 21 century has given us great new opportunities.  We are reaching our community and are expanding our borders.  We reach into the international community quarterly and are involved on a daily basis with many countries around the world.

Thank you for finding us and we pray that we impact your life and that you find grace and mercy through a covenant relationship with us.  Godspeed.
